This is a detail set of the Kh-31 (X-31) Russian high-speed anti-radiation missile. It contains one
missile cast in a light yellow resin. There are no decals provided.
The detail is excellent. Work to finish this missile is minimal. There is a mold block to remove
with a razor saw, and some very thin flash needs to be trimmed from the rear portion of the
missile. There is a mold seam that must be taken care of. It is not to large but big enough that it
can't be ignored. My copy had a shallow crevasse running the entire length of the seam between
one of the boosters and the missile body that needed filling and sanding. The exhaust end of the
missile is slightly out of round. There were a couple of holes that needed filling on the rear
portion of the missile. The overall finish has a slight
roughness to it that requires a light sanding before painting.
Be careful when working around the rear fins. They are petite and are easy to snap off.
Four colour options are provided. I chose option 3, the overall red scheme. I modified the scheme slightly to match a
picture found on the web (see above, right most), that showed some small checkerboard markings on the nose
and tail. These I scrounged from my decal spares box.

Conclusion
Overall a nice rendition, though it sure looks suspiciously like the Kh-31 released by ICM in their Soviet Modern Air Armament kit.
