The kit

Inside the box there are 3 sprues of hard light grey injected plastic with a total of 69 parts. Each sprue contains 23 pieces.

One missile is available. It is:

 Missile   No. of
Copies
 No. of Parts
per MIssile
 Kit Part
No.s
 AGM-154A JSOW  3 7  A1, A2, A3, A4(x4)

Also included are parts for GBU-31 JDAM (parts A5, A6)guided bomb, AN/ALQ-184 ECM pod (parts A7, A8),LAU-138 launch rail for F-14 (part Z1), AN/AAQ-13navigation pod (parts Z4, Z5), AN/AAQ-14 targeting pod(parts Z2, Z3, Z7), AN/AAQ-14 rack for F-15 (part Z6), F-14(part Z8), or F-16 (part Z11), and AN/AAQ-13 rack for F-15(parts Z9, Z10).

This is one of Hasegawa's newer releases. The parts are excellently molded with fine engraved detail, minimal moldseams and no flash.

There are three decal sheets containing the various lines and stencils for the missiles. The decal film is a bit thick as iscommon with Hasegawa kits, but the images respond to Microsol very well and snug down tight. The images areopaque, clear and well printed.

The instruction sheet contains colouring and marking info. Paint numbers are for Gunze Sangyo Aqueous and Gunze Sangyo Mr. Color paints. United States FS numbers are included where applicable.

Conclusion

All in all, an excellent value for the money and definitely the kit to use if you need modern USelectronics pods and stand-off weapons.

Addendum: 08/April/2020

Parts of this set have now been eclipsed by many newer products that have come on the market since this set was first released circa 2000, some 20 years ago. It remains a decent value for those wishing to arm their model aircraft on a budget.
