Bits and Pieces

© A.C. Magnus 2007-2017

This page is to provide some information on rocket/missile/drone subjects that come as parts of other kits.

For those subjects that I have built, the background of the row is grey, and there is a brief description of what I did to build it under the Modifications column.

All subjects have, as a minimum, one or more of the following minor changes:
- thinning of fins and/or wings
- removing seams and fixing mold imperfections
- removing molded on pylons or filling pylon mount points or holes
- drill out exhaust outlet(s)

Any changes over and above those listed above will be mentioned under the Modifications heading.

Subjects that are found in the reviews page are not included below.

- removed two of the fore fins
- poor fit between parts 9C and 12C leaves large seams to fill and results in a body profile that is not round so I removed rear portion of the body just aft of the fore fins and replaced the rear portion with a piece of round plastic rod
- removed rear fins from the kit parts and added them to new body
- drilled holes in body to add rocket exhaust pipes cut from plastic rod
